I also did Ph D in Taxonomy & Ethnobotany from the same college. I taught Plant Ecology and Taxonomy at Kumaon University. I also served at Botanical Survey of India for some time. I joined Wildlife Institute of India in 1986 as a Professor and have held various positions at the Institute since then.
